We believe in a future without type 1 diabetes and are raising funds for JDRF to make it a reality.
Please join us for the 2nd Annual Sing-Along, this year with Tommy Foster joining Kathleen Daniels to lead us in song. Tommy is a musician who has performed all over the state--including stints at Cleary's Pub in Chelsea. Tommy also lives with type 1 diabetes. In fact, this year he marked the 50th "diaversary" of his diagnosis at age 5. Kathleen's family has also been touched by the disease--her daughter Nellie Norris was diagnosed in 1995 at age 5.
With T1D, a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin—a hormone essential to turning food into energy. People of all ages with T1D face challenges every day, such as balancing insulin injections with food and activity, continuous glucose monitoring, and sleepless nights. Living with T1D means there are no days off and there is no cure. But there is hope.
Your generosity will help JDRF fund life-changing breakthroughs to remove the incredible daily burden of this disease—until it no longer exists.
Please support the 2nd Annual Sing-Along fundraiser by making a donation today, then join us at Robin Hills on Thursday, August 10 for a celebration of resilience and hope!
