Robin Hills Farm

our story

Robin Hills Farm is an agriculture, education, and event center nestled in the rolling hills of Sylvan Township, just outside Chelsea, Michigan. Founded in 2014, we exist to nurture our community and the land we live on through hands-on experiences, sustainable practices, and meaningful connections.

In the past, we ran our own CSA program for two and a half years, offering fresh, local produce to our community. Later, we partnered with Hay Creek Heritage Farms, continuing to strengthen our commitment to local agriculture. We’ve hosted their sheep and goats on our land, cultivated a mushroom forest, implemented an aquaponics system, and even stocked our ponds with trout to explore sustainable food production. Our farm-to-table meals and events have showcased locally sourced ingredients, and we’ve welcomed schools, families, and community groups for educational field trips, kids’ camps, classes, and workshops that connect people to farming and nature.

Looking ahead, we are focusing our efforts to cultivate gardens and vibrant flower fields, not only to enhance the landscape but to provide fresh, local produce and florals for all who visit the farm. We plan to host farmers markets that connect the community with local growers and artisans while continuing to use our sustainable land for both private celebrations and public events. We’re also exploring the idea of a community garden to further connect people with the land. By blending agriculture with hospitality, we’re creating a space where people can gather, celebrate, and engage with the land in a meaningful way.

The three pillars of service that shape our offering are:

Education, Agriculture, & Community

With each visit, we hope you, as our guests, will be touched by all of these.
