New Direction For The Nest Restaurant Space

Chelsea, MI — Robin Hills Farm announces that plans to reopen The Nest as a farm-to-table restaurant with a new chef, menu, and focus on sustainable dining have been postponed and ultimately canceled. Despite initial efforts and excitement shared on social media, local news outlets, and our website about the soft opening of The Nest, we made the difficult decision to reimagine the best use of this unique space.

After much thought and consideration, we realized that The Nest is most beneficial to our community when it is dedicated to supporting and hosting events that bring people together. Our focus going forward will be on community-centered gatherings and private events, such as farm-to-table ticketed dinners, local business's yearly events, non-profit/educational gatherings, weddings, and other family occasions. This direction aligns deeply with our commitment to the Chelsea community and allows us to fully support our mission of sustainability and local agriculture in a way that makes sense for our business.

The decision to close The Nest as a restaurant was not made lightly, and Robin Hills Farm understands that many residents and guests who looked forward to enjoying meals at The Nest may be disappointed. The team appreciates the continued support and understanding of everyone who was anticipating its reopening. We assure you we are planning and organizing farm-to-table events that will allow the community to interact with Robin Hills Farm year round.

While regular dining services are no longer part of The Nest’s offerings, Robin Hills Farm will continue to bring the community together, promote local farming, and highlight the property’s agricultural heritage. Visitors to the farm will still be able to redeem gift cards through upcoming dining events, classes, and RHF merchandise.

The Nest will now serve as a beautiful setting for public and private celebrations, ensuring that Robin Hills Farm remains a place for all to gather, connect, and celebrate agriculture. Guests can expect continued attention to our mission of sustainability, farm operations, and community resources in all that we offer. Robin Hills Farm looks forward to welcoming the Chelsea community and beyond for seasonal events, special classes, and private events. For more information on our upcoming community events or to inquire about booking The Nest for private gatherings, please visit our website, robinhillsfarm.com, or follow us on social media.
